Korean alphabet is called Hangul (한국말), official language of both North and South Korea. Although the spelling, alphabet and vocabulary differ slightly between the two countries, Korean is the official language of both South Korea and North Korea. Hangul is the writing system of the Korean language. Hangul is made up of 10 consonants and 14 vowels, making it an alphabet with a total of 24 letters. The Hanguk dialect is spoken is South Korea.
