South Korea is a country found in the East Asia, it occupies the 45% and southern part of the Korean Peninsula. The country is bordered by the Democratic People’s Republic of North Korea, Sea of Japan (East Sea) in the east, Yellow Sea in the west and the Korea Strait, a sea passage between South Korea and Japan in the south. South Korea has a land border with North Korea in the north and it also shares maritime borders with China and Japan. The capital of South Korea is Seoul which is located in the northern part of the country. There is approximately 51.8 million people living in South Korea (2020). And their currency is South Korean Won.
